About Lincoln Sport Parachute Club
Lincoln Sport Parachute Club is the oldest skydiving dropzone in continuous operation in the United States, a distinction that underscores nearly seven decades of expertise and safety-first culture. Located in Weeping Water, Nebraska, approximately 30-45 minutes from Omaha or Lincoln, LSPC operates from Brown's Airport (NE69) and has been safely flying skydivers since 1959.
The dropzone is certified by the United States Parachute Association and staffed entirely by experienced, FAA-certified instructors and senior master riggers. LSPC holds the distinction of operating the oldest dropzone in continuous operation in the country, and the club has logged more than 15,000 tandem and static line skydives to date. The facility also claims the highest altitude skydiving in Nebraska, reaching up to 13,500 feet.
LSPC operates large skydiving aircraft including Twin Otter airplanes capable of flying 23 skydivers to approximately 13,500 feet—the highest altitude in Nebraska—in just under fourteen minutes. This combination of experience, equipment, and altitude makes Lincoln Sport Parachute Club one of the region's premier skydiving destinations, particularly for tandem first-timers seeking professional instruction and breathtaking views of Nebraska farmland.
The club offers a comprehensive range of programs and experiences. First-time jumpers can book tandem skydives, the most accessible introduction to the sport. For those committed to becoming licensed skydivers, LSPC provides Accelerated Freefall (AFF) and Instructor Assisted Deployment (IAD) training, as well as Static Line (SL) and Tandem Skydiving programs. Experienced jumpers can participate in fun jumps and group events year-round.
The dropzone features an air-conditioned and heated packing area, a true club atmosphere, designated camping areas, equipment rental and sales, packing services, rigging services, RV spaces with electricity, shower facilities, and Wi-Fi. This blend of modern amenities and welcoming culture makes LSPC equally appealing to weekend jumpers and those planning extended visits.
Located one mile east of the end of Eldora Avenue in Weeping Water, the facility operates weekends year-round and Wednesdays during Daylight Saving Time. The dropzone is conveniently positioned as a short drive between Omaha and Lincoln, making it accessible to jumpers throughout the region.
LSPC's reputation for safety, combined with its historic significance as America's longest continuously operating skydiving center, makes it the natural choice for anyone seeking professional, experienced instruction in a welcoming and well-equipped environment.
